A Message from the Youth Achievers' Committee President -- Richard M. Lynch, Ph.D.

We live in a time, where the pace of scientific discovery is un-paralleled. This, in combination with changes in global economies, geo-political boundaries, ethical and moral challenges, and rapid change in the demographic profile of our county, state and nation, dictates that our youth must be capable of digesting and employing new information at a dizzying pace.

As parents, mentors and teachers, we must equip them, with not only the technical analytical skills to compete in a global economy, but also with the moral grounding and self confidence to make excellent decisions, so that they may be a blessing to their families, communities, and employers.

We at Youth Achievers appreciate the efforts of our teachers, mentors and parents, and seek to materially contribute to the broad-based development of the youth in Burlington County and vicinity.

Through programs such as the Annual Science Fair, Spring project, Industry visits, and other programming offered by YAC volunteers, we hope to enrich the lives of these youth, and inspire others toward believing and achieving their best.

Toward this, we have recently formed a Youth Advisory Council within the Youth Achievers organization, called YAC.yac (designed to increase youth involvement). We encourage those of you who are interested to find out more, and consider becoming involved.

Finally, YAC wishes to express our sincere appreciation to our Church and Corporate Sponsors who provide the funding necessary for programs such as these to occur.  Without their support, our job would be infinitely more difficult.

We also wish to thank the Charter Members of Youth Achievers Committee for their many years of unselfish giving to the organization. Through your vision and dedication, many minority and non-minority youth in the Burlington County area have realized their potential.
