About Us

The Youth Achievers' Committee (YAC) is a non-profit volunteer organization established in 1990 by a group of concerned citizens in Burlington County and vicinity, that encourages minority students to pursue careers in the fields of Science, Math and Engineering.

The organization is presently comprised of scientists, engineers, medical, health, corporate professionals and retirees.

We have taken the initiative to:
  •  Promote career awareness, academic readiness and competitiveness in students in the areas of Math and Science.
  • Encourage students to accept the challenge and take control of their careers by directing them to the courses needed to pursue their profession of choice and by bringing them into direct contact with individuals working in Math and Science focused careers.
  • Create programs and special events like our 14th Annual Science and Math Fair to provide support and encouragement to students who demonstrate readiness and to motivate others to show their potential.
